My name is Cristina D'Agostino.  This school year marks the beginning of my 25th year in my teaching career.  Most of those years have been at the second and first grade level, although I spent a year in third grade, two years in fifth grade at the middle school, and a few years as the math literacy teacher at Hope Valley School.

Many years ago, I attended the University of Vermont and the University of Rhode Island, graduating with a bachelor of arts in communications and a bachelor of science in education.  Twelve years ago I completed a masters degree in adult education with a specialization in administration.

I have two beautiful daughters.  One is entering her Junior year at URI, and the other is entering her Freshmen year at URI.  We share our household with a five year old pit-bull/lab mix named Cody and a cat named Jazz.  In my spare time I enjoy running, yoga, dancing, gardening, and reading.

My name is Mary Ann Mello. I began teaching in Chariho in 2002 as a resource teacher in the middle school. After 4 years I moved to Hope Valley where I have been for the last 9 years. I have worked as a resource teacher as well as a second grade teacher during those years.

Prior to working in Chariho I worked at The Groden Center in Providence. I hold a bachelor of arts in music and a bachelor of science in elementary education. I also hold a masters degree in special education.

My husband Andy and I live in Coventry with our dog Roxie. Roxie is a certified therapy dog and enjoys visiting schools, nursing homes and hospitals.

I am slightly obsessed with Walt Disney World and my husband and I travel there at least once a year. In February I ran in my first RUN DISNEY event and in November I will be running again to raise money for brain cancer research.  In addition to traveling to Disney I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, playing the piano, singing and reading.
